Connected, approved, proven.
The things teams do most with Asana, an example flow with a person in the loop, and what Nexra keeps as proof.

comments.createMaker-checker - Nexra · Record the decision and result in the evidence chainProven
Example workflow. Routine runs go through on their own. Only a change your rules flag, such as one over a limit you set, waits for the right person, who sees the exact change and the rule before it reaches Asana.
What gets logged
- Whether it ran on its own or who approved it, and under which rule
- A fingerprint of the exact request sent to Asana
- Asana's reply: what it created or changed
- One entry in the evidence chain, linked to the one before
Try this in the sandbox
Run the whole flow with test data in your sandbox, then connect your own account when you are ready to go live.

Access and limits
- Authentication
- Personal access token or service account token
- Plans and access
- All plans; custom fields, dependencies and search need paid plans; portfolios, goals and time tracking need Business or Enterprise features. Access follows the user or service account that owns the token. Service accounts need Enterprise.
- Test environment
- Use a free or trial workspace for testing; Asana has no separate sandbox.
- Rate limits
- 150 requests per minute on free plans and 1,500 on paid plans, plus concurrency and cost limits; HTTP 429 with Retry-After.
- Pagination
- Opaque offset tokens with up to 100 records per page; sync tokens for events; task search returns a single page.
- Provider events
- Asana webhooks with X-Hook-Signature HMAC-SHA256. Flows run on demand, on a schedule, or when a scheduled check finds new or changed records.
Before you build a flow
- Asana has no idempotency key for creates; uncertain creates are not repeated automatically.
- Attachment metadata is read; file contents are not transferred or uploaded.
- Task search does not paginate and needs a premium workspace or team.
- The first events sync token is only returned in a 412 response, which the runtime reports as an error; supply an initial token and chain nextSyncToken.
- Deletes, removing dependencies, tags, projects or followers, follower and membership changes, project privacy and sharing, project duplication and templates, workspace and team membership, and portfolio membership changes are intentionally excluded.
- The project team field is deprecated by Asana for sharing; Nexra only passes it on creation where organisations require it.
