Calendly with Nexra

Connected, approved, proven.

The things teams do most with Calendly, an example flow with a person in the loop, and what Nexra keeps as proof.

Top actions

  • Create contactApproval by rule
  • Create event typeApproval by rule
  • List activity log entriesRead

Example flow

  1. Calendly · List activity log entriesDone
  2. Calendly · Create contactNeeds approval
  3. Nexra · Record the decision and result in the evidence chainProven

Example workflow. Routine runs go through on their own. Only a change your rules flag, such as one over a limit you set, waits for the right person, who sees the exact change and the rule before it reaches Calendly.

What gets logged

  • Whether it ran on its own or who approved it, and under which rule
  • A fingerprint of the exact request sent to Calendly
  • Calendly's reply: what it created or changed
  • One entry in the evidence chain, linked to the one before

Try this in the sandbox

Run the whole flow with test data in your sandbox, then connect your own account when you are ready to go live.

Access and limits

Authentication
Personal access token
Plans and access
API access on all plans; routing forms, booking via API and organisation-wide reads need paid plans (Standard or higher; routing forms Teams or higher). A personal access token acts as its owner; organisation-scoped reads require an admin or owner.
Test environment
A Calendly trial or free account can be used; paid features need a trial of that plan.
Rate limits
500 requests per user per minute on paid plans and 50 on the free plan; booking (invitees.create) has lower per-user limits. HTTP 429 carries X-RateLimit-Reset.
Pagination
page_token with count (up to 100); pagination.next_page_token ends at null.
Provider events
Webhook subscriptions for invitee.created, invitee.canceled, invitee_no_show and routing_form_submission.created. Flows run on demand, on a schedule, or when a scheduled check finds new or changed records.

Before you build a flow

  • Intentionally excluded: cancelling scheduled events, deleting no-show marks, contacts, recaps or webhook subscriptions, removing organisation members, revoking invitations and the data-compliance deletion endpoints. They are destructive.
  • Booking (invitees.create), single-use links, one-off event types, event type creation, contact creation and no-show marks have no idempotency key and are not repeated automatically.
  • Event type creation and update support one-on-one (solo) event types only, as documented by Calendly.
  • Event type available times and user busy times are limited by Calendly to a 7-day window per request.
  • Scheduled events filter by start time (min_start_time); Calendly has no updated-since filter. Activity log entries filter by min_occurred_at (Enterprise plan).
  • The legacy email filters on organization memberships, scheduled events and invitees send the email address in the query string, as Calendly requires. Prefer user, event and invitee UUIDs.
  • Meeting recaps (Notetaker) require a paid plan and the meeting_recaps:read scope; transcripts are linked, not downloaded.
  • Outgoing communications and the sample webhook data endpoint are not implemented.
