Coda
Put Coda to work on your own records, inside your rules, with a person approving what it changes.
27 ways to read, 10 ways to write, each write switched on by you.

- Built and tested with example responses: doneEach action is built from the provider’s published API and tested against example responses, errors, rate limits and paging.
Connected, approved, proven.
The things teams do most with Coda, an example flow with a person in the loop, and what Nexra keeps as proof.

Example flow
- Coda · List columnsDone
- Coda · Create docNeeds approval
- Nexra · Record the decision and result in the evidence chainProven
Example workflow. Routine runs go through on their own. Only a change your rules flag, such as one over a limit you set, waits for the right person, who sees the exact change and the rule before it reaches Coda.
What gets logged
- Whether it ran on its own or who approved it, and under which rule
- A fingerprint of the exact request sent to Coda
- Coda's reply: what it created or changed
- One entry in the evidence chain, linked to the one before
Try this in the sandbox
Run the whole flow with test data in your sandbox, then connect your own account when you are ready to go live.

Columns2
- Get columnSource
One column's format, formula and default value.
- List columnsSource
Columns of a table with their formats (types) and formula flags.
Controls2

Renames a folder or changes its description.
Formulas2
- Get named formulaSource
One named formula's current value.

Named formulas in a doc with their current values.
Mutations1
- Get mutation statusSource
Whether an asynchronous row or page write has been applied.
Page analytics1
- List page analyticsSourceIncremental
Views and sessions per page of a doc and day.
Page content1
- Read page contentSource
Plain-text lines of a canvas page with their styles, for search and AI flows.

Access and limits
- Authentication
- Coda API token
- Plans and access
- All Coda plans; API tokens can be restricted to specific docs or tables. The token acts as the user who created it.
- Test environment
- Use a free Coda account and a test doc.
- Rate limits
- Reads 100 requests per 6 seconds; writes 10 per 6 seconds; doc content writes 5 per 10 seconds; listing docs 4 per 6 seconds. HTTP 429.
- Pagination
- nextPageToken cursors; rows also return a nextSyncToken for incremental reads.
- Provider events
- Coda automations can call webhooks; there is no provider event subscription API. Flows run on demand, on a schedule, or when a scheduled check finds new or changed records.
Before you build a flow
- Row and page writes are asynchronous (HTTP 202). Use Get mutation status with the returned requestId to confirm completion.
- Row inserts without key columns have no idempotency key; uncertain inserts are not repeated automatically.
- Deletes (docs, pages, page content, rows, folders, permissions), sharing (ACL) changes, publishing, button pushes, webhook-automation triggers, workspace role changes and Pack management are intentionally excluded: they are destructive, change who can see content, or run doc automations with side effects.
- Page export returns a short-lived download link; downloading the exported HTML or Markdown file is not implemented because the recipe runtime does not fetch files from other hosts (engine gap). Page content can be read as plain text lines with Read page content.
- Doc and page analytics require a Coda Enterprise plan; workspace member listing requires a workspace admin.
- Doc creation and folder creation have no idempotency key; uncertain creates are not repeated automatically.
Developer reference
- Create the Superhuman (formerly Coda) credentials described above with the narrowest permissions your flows need.
- In Nexra, open Connect, then Connections, then New connection, choose Coda, enter its settings and credentials, and tick only the write actions you need. Connection guide
- Test the connection, then use its actions as flow sources and destinations. Flow guide
