Confluence
Put Confluence to work on your own records, inside your rules, with a person approving what it changes.
25 ways to read, 12 ways to write, each write switched on by you.
Quality checks
Built and tested with example responses.
- Ready to connect: doneEvery listed action is built in.
- Built and tested with example responses: doneEach action is built from the provider’s published API and tested against example responses, errors, rate limits and paging.
Connected, approved, proven.
The things teams do most with Confluence, an example flow with a person in the loop, and what Nexra keeps as proof.

Example flow

- Confluence · Create blog postNeeds approval
- Nexra · Record the decision and result in the evidence chainProven
Example workflow. Routine runs go through on their own. Only a change your rules flag, such as one over a limit you set, waits for the right person, who sees the exact change and the rule before it reaches Confluence.
What gets logged
- Whether it ran on its own or who approved it, and under which rule
- A fingerprint of the exact request sent to Confluence
- Confluence's reply: what it created or changed
- One entry in the evidence chain, linked to the one before
Try this in the sandbox
Run the whole flow with test data in your sandbox, then connect a Atlassian test account before you go live.

Access and limits
- Authentication
- Atlassian account email and API token
- Plans and access
- All Confluence Cloud plans, including Free. Results follow the space and page permissions of the Atlassian account that owns the API token.
- Test environment
- Free Confluence Cloud sites and Atlassian developer sites can be used for testing.
- Rate limits
- Cost-based points and burst limits per tenant; HTTP 429 with Retry-After.
- Pagination
- Cursor pagination from _links.next / the Link header (v2 and CQL search).
- Provider events
- Confluence webhooks (Connect/Forge apps) for page, blog post, comment and label events. Flows run on demand, on a schedule, or when a scheduled check finds new or changed records.
Before you build a flow
- Bodies are exchanged in storage format; plain-text input is escaped into paragraphs and rich formatting is not generated.
- Attachment uploads and downloads are not implemented: uploads need multipart/form-data (REST v1) and downloads return binary content through a redirect to the Atlassian media host, neither of which the recipe runtime supports (engine gap). Attachments are metadata only.
- Deletes, purges and redaction (pages, blog posts, comments, attachments, properties, labels), space creation, space permission and role changes, classification changes and invite-by-email are intentionally excluded.
- Adding labels uses the REST v1 content label endpoint because REST v2 has no label write. Label removal is not exposed.
- CQL search uses REST v1 /wiki/rest/api/search. Free-form CQL is not accepted: every clause is built from validated inputs, and text values are quoted and cannot contain quotes, backslashes or line breaks. Clauses are joined with AND.
- REST v2 is used everywhere it exists. Content properties are exposed for pages and blog posts; properties on comments, attachments, spaces and whiteboards are not.
- Inline comments can only be created on text that already appears on the page; Confluence needs the selected text and which occurrence to highlight.
- Confluence tasks can be read and marked complete or incomplete; tasks are created by editing page content.
- Page, blog post, comment and content property creation have no idempotency key; uncertain creates are not repeated automatically.
