Example flow
- monday.com · List board activity logsDone
- monday.com · Create boardNeeds approval
- Nexra · Record the decision and result in the evidence chainProven
Example workflow. Routine runs go through on their own. Only a change your rules flag, such as one over a limit you set, waits for the right person, who sees the exact change and the rule before it reaches monday.com.
What gets logged
- Whether it ran on its own or who approved it, and under which rule
- A fingerprint of the exact request sent to monday.com
- monday.com's reply: what it created or changed
- One entry in the evidence chain, linked to the one before

Access and limits
- Authentication
- Personal API token
- Plans and access
- All plans can use personal API tokens; limits depend on plan. Access follows the board permissions of the token owner.
- Test environment
- monday.com developer accounts and free trials can be used for testing.
- Rate limits
- Complexity budget per minute (per token) and per query, plus daily call and concurrency limits by plan. Nexra requests only the fields each operation maps and caps nested pages (items 500, other lists 100).
- Pagination
- Boards, users, workspaces, folders, docs, updates and activity logs by page number; items with items_page and next_items_page cursors (cursors expire after 60 minutes).
- Provider events
- Board webhooks for item, column and update events. Flows run on demand, on a schedule, or when a scheduled check finds new or changed records.
Before you build a flow
- Column values are written as monday.com JSON column values; Nexra does not translate column types.
- Item cursors expire after 60 minutes, so very long-running reads restart from the first page.
- Items cannot be filtered by an exact updated-since timestamp; items.search offers monday.com's relative last-updated windows (TODAY, THIS_WEEK, ...). Activity logs support exact from/to times.
- Intentionally excluded: deleting or archiving boards, groups, items, updates, columns, workspaces and docs; duplicating boards or items; clearing item updates; board subscriber and owner changes; notifications.
- Doc content is appended from markdown; editing or deleting existing doc blocks is not implemented.
