Notion
Put Notion to work on your own records, inside your rules, with a person approving what it changes.
15 ways to read, 10 ways to write, each write switched on by you.

Connected, approved, proven.
The things teams do most with Notion, an example flow with a person in the loop, and what Nexra keeps as proof.

Example flow
- Notion · Read page contentDone
- Notion · Append page contentNeeds approval
- Nexra · Record the decision and result in the evidence chainProven
Example workflow. Routine runs go through on their own. Only a change your rules flag, such as one over a limit you set, waits for the right person, who sees the exact change and the rule before it reaches Notion.
What gets logged
- Whether it ran on its own or who approved it, and under which rule
- A fingerprint of the exact request sent to Notion
- Notion's reply: what it created or changed
- One entry in the evidence chain, linked to the one before
Try this in the sandbox
Run the whole flow with test data in your sandbox, then connect a Notion Labs, Inc. test account before you go live.

Access and limits
- Authentication
- Internal integration secret
- Plans and access
- All Notion plans. Rate limits are higher on Business and Enterprise. An internal integration only sees pages and databases explicitly shared with it. Comment and user reads need the matching capabilities on the integration.
- Test environment
- Use a free Notion workspace and share a test database with the integration.
- Rate limits
- About 180 requests per minute per integration (600 on Business and Enterprise); HTTP 429 with Retry-After.
- Pagination
- start_cursor and page_size (up to 100) with has_more and next_cursor.
- Provider events
- Notion integration webhooks for page, data source and comment events. Flows run on demand, on a schedule, or when a scheduled check finds new or changed records.
Before you build a flow
- Formula, rollup, created/edited and unique ID properties are read-only; Nexra skips them on writes.
- Page objects return at most 25 relation or people values; use Get page property for the full list.
- Rich text is written as plain text in chunks of 2,000 characters; formatting is not preserved.
- Block children are read one level at a time; nested blocks need another read with the child block ID.
- List comments returns unresolved comments only.
- Notion has no idempotency key; uncertain creates are not repeated automatically.
- Database and data source schema writes cannot remove properties (a null definition deletes the column's data) and cannot move databases or data sources to trash.
- File uploads use the external URL import mode only; direct single-part and multi-part uploads need multipart bodies the runtime does not send. Upload URLs are never returned.
- Block text updates replace the whole rich text with plain text; formatting and mentions are not preserved.
- Database and data source icons are set as emoji only.
