Salesloft with Nexra

Connected, approved, proven.

The things teams do most with Salesloft, an example flow with a person in the loop, and what Nexra keeps as proof.

Top actions

  • Create accountaccounts.createApproval by rule
  • Add person to cadencecadence_memberships.createApproval by rule
  • List account stagesaccount_stages.listRead

Example flow

  1. Salesloft · List account stagesaccount_stages.listDone
  2. Salesloft · Create accountaccounts.createMaker-checker
  3. Nexra · Record the decision and result in the evidence chainProven

Example workflow. Routine runs go through on their own. Only a change your rules flag, such as one over a limit you set, waits for the right person, who sees the exact change and the rule before it reaches Salesloft.

What gets logged

  • Whether it ran on its own or who approved it, and under which rule
  • A fingerprint of the exact request sent to Salesloft
  • Salesloft's reply: what it created or changed
  • One entry in the evidence chain, linked to the one before

Try this in the sandbox

Run the whole flow with test data in your sandbox, then connect your own account when you are ready to go live.

Access and limits

Authentication
Salesloft API key
Plans and access
Salesloft customers with API access; API keys are created per user. Requests act as the key owner and are limited to the scopes chosen for the key.
Test environment
Salesloft provides sandbox teams to partners and customers on request.
Rate limits
600 cost points per minute per team; high page numbers cost more; HTTP 429 with Retry-After.
Pagination
page/per_page (up to 100) with metadata.paging.next_page.
Provider events
Salesloft webhook subscriptions for people, cadence membership, call, email and task events. Flows run on demand, on a schedule, or when a scheduled check finds new or changed records.

Before you build a flow

  • Array filters accept one value per operation input in Nexra.
  • do_not_contact and contact_restrictions are only sent when mapped explicitly.
  • People, notes and cadence memberships have no idempotency key; uncertain creates are not repeated automatically. Tasks use Salesloft's idempotency_key.
  • The account create/update reference lists custom_fields as an array while reads return an object keyed by field name; Nexra sends the mapped value unchanged.
  • Activity reads (calls, emails) may require additional scopes; email subject and body are sensitive fields that need a specific scope.
  • Opportunities are read-only here; Salesloft creates and updates them through CRM sync or its external mapping API, which Nexra does not offer.
  • Logging a call (calls.create) completes the linked task or action; without taskId or actionId a repeat logs a second call.
  • The conversations and activity history responses are paged by page number; when Salesloft omits paging metadata Nexra requests the next page after a full page.
  • Deletes, cadence activation and bulk enrolment, imports, bulk jobs, data-control redaction, webhook subscription changes and email sends are intentionally not offered.

Developer reference

  1. Create the Salesloft credentials described above with the narrowest permissions your flows need.
  2. In Nexra, open Connect, then Connections, then New connection, choose Salesloft, enter its settings and credentials, and tick only the write actions you need. Connection guide
  3. Test the connection, then use its actions as flow sources and destinations. Flow guide
